Exodus 15:22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. 23 Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” 25 So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.
The tree was always there. It didn't grow there instantly. What was missing was the seeing. God had to show Moses the tree. I guess it must be a small, non-descript one -- small, because he could uproot it & cast it into the bitter waters. Non-descript, because Moses didn't notice it till God directed his gaze to it.
The solution is there, for God has provided it.
Prayer:
Lord, let us have the eyes to see the solutions that You have already provided in answer to the difficulties we face. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
